Former Proteas opener Alviro Petersen revealed that he was approached to 'fix matches' in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, South Africa's domestic T20 tournament. Replying to reports which stated he was under investigation for fixing, Petersen revealed that he reported the matter to Tony Irish, South African Cricketers' Association's CEO and Louis Cole from the Anti-Corruption Security Unit three days after he was made aware of the fixing scandal, adhering to the Anti-Corruption code. Petersen was a teammate of Ghulam Bodi (Highveld Lions), who has been suspended for match-fixing. "I have seen some media reports about the match-fixing scandal and my name was thrown around... herewith some facts about Bodigate," Petersen posted on his Twitter account.
